A Holiday & A Little Something

Hello Lovelies... I am here to share more cards to you.

Have you guys seen the new October release from WPlus9?
If you haven't you have to check it out!

So since the holiday is getting close most of my friends have been asking me to make cards for them, so I made the holiday card for a friend and the other card for my friend who is not feeling well at the moment, so what a better way to use these new acquired stamp sets eh!

The stamps sets and dies I used are mostly from the October release at WPlus9
Woodland Wreaths, Very Vintage Florals, Silver Bells, Merry & Bright, & Blanket Stitched Blooms.

Here is the first card.
On the wreath I also used Gold liquid pearls for my berries, to match my color scheme.
The wreath die is from the Woodland Wreath die set.
I also used the Under the Mistletoe die set, to tuck some of the laurel behind the wreath for added interest.

As for the bow, I stamped it first using Hero Arts Butter Bar ink then stamped again this time I used
the Delicata ink, I did this because for some reason my Delicata ink is not stamping well like it used to.
I did this so I can capture that bright gold yellow on my bow....heha..double stamping, thank goodness it worked and no mess.

The pine cone image are from the Merry & Bright set and the sentiment is from the Heartfelt Holiday set.

Here's the look of the first card.

As for the second card I created a get well card that incorporated the holiday stamp sets.
Though I used the wreath for this card as well, I just added the small flower & leaves image from the
Very Vintage Floral  set to change the look a little, to make more feminine and to stir away from the holiday
theme.

I also added some Pink liquid pearls on this card for added shine.

As for the bow I used the die set from Silver Bells die collection.

Here's the bottom of the card. I also used the Chantilly Trim to make it more girly :)
As for the sentiment I used the set from Blanket Stitched Blooms.
Oh....at the bottom of my card I also used the Scalloped Border die on each layer of my card
to give that feminine look and feel.

Here's the whole card.

I'm linking this up to this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: use a rubber or clear stamp.

Thank you for visiting!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!

  5. Both beautiful cards! It's great to see how you used the same stamps in different ways; I can't wait to get the set myself (takes a bit for overseas people).

Thanks for the tip about using liquid pearls for the berries. Wouldn't have thought of that!
